Peter A. Smith
Co-Founder & Business Consultant
Peter A. Smith is a Boston-based entrepreneur and Co-Founder of BASE – Business Assistance for Small Enterprises, where he provides hands-on, practical support to entrepreneurs building and growing small businesses. As an entrepreneur himself, Peter has started and supported multiple businesses in the Greater Boston area, giving him firsthand insight into the realities of launching and scaling locally.

Peter brings over 20 years of experience writing, managing, and supporting grant-funded programs across life sciences and for-profit business, including roles at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Harvard Medical School, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where he managed millions of dollars in NIH-funded programs within financial and grants operations.
​
With more than 20 years of public speaking experience across instructional, leadership, and community settings, Peter combines clear communication with structured planning—helping business owners articulate their ideas and make confident, informed decisions.
​
Outside of work, Peter has a strong interest in history, especially pivotal moments of scientific discovery, finance, and the events that shaped institutions and nations.
Andreza R. Smith
Co-Founder & Business Consultant
Andreza is a Boston-based small business owner with nearly a decade of hands-on entrepreneurial experience and more than 20 years of public speaking and one-on-one coaching involvement. Her work centers on helping individuals develop clarity, confidence, and practical direction as they pursue business and personal growth goals.

Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Creole, and proficient in Spanish, Andreza brings strong linguistic and cultural awareness to her work. She understands how communication shapes opportunity and how trust is built across diverse communities.

As Co-Owner of BASE – Business Assistance for Small Enterprises, Andreza focuses on training, client support, and operational systems. She works closely with entrepreneurs to translate ideas into structured plans and actionable steps. Her strength lies in helping people organize their thinking, stay accountable, and move forward with confidence.

Andreza believes sustainable businesses are built on clarity, discipline, and consistent support. Her approach is practical, steady, and rooted in real-world experience.
Doris Omeike
CPA - Business & Financial Consultant
Doris Omeike is a licensed CPA and the founder of Insightful Numbers LLC, where she partners with small business owners to bring clarity to their finances and confidence to their decisions.

Through her work with BASE, Doris supports entrepreneurs with tax planning, bookkeeping, and CFO-level advisory services—helping clients understand their numbers, improve cash flow, stay compliant, and build stronger businesses. She’s known for breaking down complex financial topics into simple, practical steps and meeting clients exactly where they are.

Doris believes accounting shouldn’t feel intimidating. Her goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where business owners feel empowered, informed, and equipped to grow.

When she’s not working with clients, Doris loves to travel and explore new cities—always inspired by new cultures, communities, and small businesses along the way.
Beth Sweatman
Business Consultant
With over 30 years of service-focused experience, Beth brings a unique blend of organization, communication, and cultural understanding to her work. Her background includes a decade as a hospital unit secretary, three decades of community teaching, and 16 years as a bilingual ESL educator in South America. Today, she uses those same strengths—precision, empathy, and clear communication—to support clients through virtual administrative services and user-friendly website creation.

Dayna Sweatman
Business Consultant
Dayna is an entrepreneur specializing in supporting growing businesses by building and onboarding effective teams, setting up efficient systems, and providing reliable administrative support staff. She helps leaders create clarity, confidence, and structure—so they can focus on growth while knowing their operations and people are in capable hands. Fluent in Spanish, she has 20 years’ experience teaching ESL (English as a second language) and public speaking in South America.

She brings 5 years’ experience in community management, team building and leading experience—skills that translate into clear communication, strong organization, and easy-going, people-first support staff.
